Standing at Everest Base Camp (5,364m) is a life-changing achievement. The 17-day journey begins with a thrilling flight to Lukla, passes through Namche Bazaar (the Sherpa capital), visits ancient monasteries at Tengboche and Dingboche, and culminates at the base of the Khumbu Icefall on the flanks of the world's highest mountain.

Passupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath. Evening gear check with guide.
Early morning flight to Lukla — Tenzing-Hillary Airport, one of the world's most dramatic airstrips. Trek through pine forests to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River. 3–4 hours walking.
Trek 5–6 hours. Cross the Dudh Koshi gorge on famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. Climb through Sagarmatha National Park gates to the sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar.
Crucial acclimatization day. Morning hike up to the Everest View Hotel (3,880m) — first view of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam. Afternoon explore Namche's Sherpa Museum, Saturday market, and bakeries.
Trek 5–6 hours through ridgeline trails with continuous Everest views. Visit Tengboche Monastery — the spiritual heart of the Khumbu. Attend the evening puja (prayer ceremony).
Trek 5–6 hours through rhododendron and juniper forest to Dingboche — a high valley with potato fields and yak pastures.
Hike up to Nangkar Tshang Hill (5,083m) above Dingboche for views of Makalu, Lhotse, Island Peak, and Baruntse. Return for lunch and rest.
Trek along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier past the climbers' memorial at Dugla Pass (4,590m). Reach Lobuche — barren, cold, above 4,900m.
Trek to Gorak Shep. Continue to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Stand at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. Return to Gorak Shep for dinner and overnight.
Pre-dawn summit of Kala Patthar — the classic Everest viewpoint. Sunrise: the full face of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, and Changtse. Descend all the way to Pheriche.
Long descent through Tengboche rhododendron forests. Arrive Namche — hot shower and celebration dinner!
Final full day of trekking. Descend through suspension bridges and forest back to Lukla. Celebration dinner with your guide and porter.
Morning flight to Kathmandu. Hot shower, real food, and rest at hotel.
Rest day or optional cultural visit to Bhaktapur. Shopping.
Last shopping, massage, or optional Chandragiri Hills cable car. Farewell dinner.
Breakfast. Airport transfer. You trekked to Everest Base Camp!
