Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Your Swornim Tours representative meets you at the terminal and transfers you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in and a brief rest, enjoy an orientation walk through the vibrant Thamel bazaar. Evening welcome dinner at a traditional Newari restaurant with cultural dance performance.
After breakfast, begin your Kathmandu heritage tour. Visit Pashupatinath Temple (one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world), where you witness cremation rituals along the sacred Bagmati River and observe sadhus (holy men). Continue to Boudhanath Stupa — the largest stupa in Nepal and the heart of Tibetan Buddhism in Kathmandu. Walk around the mandala base, spin prayer wheels, and explore the surrounding monasteries. Afternoon free for shopping or relaxation.
Morning visit to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) — climb 365 steps to the hilltop stupa for panoramic views over the Kathmandu Valley. Proceed to Patan (Lalitpur) — explore Patan Durbar Square, Krishna Mandir, and the city's ancient courtyards. Afternoon drive to Bhaktapur — wander Bhaktapur Durbar Square, visit the 55-Window Palace, Golden Gate, and Nyatapola Temple. Return to Kathmandu for a farewell dinner.
